Eric Idle is a genius. And John Cleese is, well, John Cleese. The two Monty Python members recently appeared on Conan, and used the opportunity to debut a new song.
The song is called “Fuck Selfies”, and is, rather predictably, all about selfies. It’s fair to say Idle isn’t a fan of this modern phenomenon.
Eric Idle wrote “Fuck Selfies”, and sings it on the show. Cleese, meanwhile, mugs at the camera while messing around with a selfie stick. I think we can all see where the talent resides here.
I’m not fussed by selfies. I have even taken a few in my time. But selfie sticks are really annoying. Come on, admit it!
