If you’ve seen the new film version of Les Miserables by now this video will amuse you. If not, well, then stick with Susan Boyle and her crappy version of I Dreamed A Dream.

In the movie Anne Hathaway gives a stunning performance of I Dreamed A Dream. It’s honest, heartfelt, and from the heart. It’s the highlight of the movie, and with good reason.

However, Hathaway is merely portraying a character and singing from the point of view of that character. This version of the song sings another singer playing Anne Hathaway, with lyrics related to her instead.

This reminds me of the literal music videos, which spawned a craze a few years ago. It works so well because the woman actually looks like Hathaway, and can even sing too.
