Funny Internet Lag In Real-Life Experiment Video | Ume.net Hates Lag, As Do We All

This may be a commercial masquerading as a funny video, but it’s amusing enough to justify watching.

Because no one likes lag.

Broadband provider Ume.net decided to prove just how hard it is coping with a little bit of lag. They’re making the point that you wouldn’t put up with lag in the real world, so why put up with it on the Internet?

This video shows how the company makes it point, showing people struggling to accomplish a range of normally simple tasks when wearing a VR headset with a little lag built in.

It’s a very simple experiment, and I’m convinced. Unfortunately, Ume.net is a Swedish company, so I cannot use their service. Damn and blast. As we English say.
