The Olympics might be heading to Beijing next year, but that hasn’t stopped this French athlete from getting into the spirit in his own backyard.

In this hilarious video, Remi proves he’s a bit of an all-rounder by competing in a whole range of sports in his neighborhood.

It’s surprising just how many everyday objects can be used for sport. A passing tram is a great competitor for a track event, and any pile of dirt can be used for the long jump. Although the fisherman doesn’t seem to approve when Remi uses his rod for javelin!

I just love Remi’s enthusiasm. You’d never know he wasn’t competing at the real games!
