There is something decidedly wrong with American politics when only those with money can legitimately run for president. The idea is meant to be that any U.S. citizen can one day be president, but that’s a big fat lie.

In reality you have to have money in the bank to start with in order to persuade others to fund your campaign. Which in the U.S. lasts about two years. Which is insane.
