Don’t get me wrong, I hate clowns and I haven’t touched a McDonalds burger in years, but this new version of “Ronald McDonald” is hot!
Those wacky Japanese have a knack for being different- even when it comes to McDonalds commercials. I don’t know whether it’s the TATU pop music or the fact that I’ve never thought of a clown as sexy that makes this commercial hilarious. Granted, there’s no obvious make-up or a red nose.
The way the woman poses, you can tell the inspiration from this ad came from some sort of high fashion ad. I’m curious to see what other out-of the-box ideas McDonalds comes up with now. What’s next, a Victoria Secret Ronald Mcdonald?
For a person who despises most fast food restaurants like McDonalds, this ad only proves my point; people don’t buy McDonalds burgers for the quality, but rather the appeal.
