Whenever “the kids” start going crazy over a new fad, the media always makes a bigger deal of the matter than it actually is. Take this latest craze for example: the teen hugging epidemic.

If you aren’t terrified, you should be. Or perhaps you haven’t been watching enough news.

We’re halfway through 2009, and it looks like the biggest threat brought on by the youth of the nation are hugs. Not drugs, obscene music, or inappropriate attire, but hugs. I knew the public school system was flawed, but this is insane!

The funniest part of the entire clip has to be the one where 50 Cent is seen in one of his music video’s “hugging” one of his homies. As if hugging is something cutting edge for 2009! If you ask me, the major media has run out of things to complain about.
