As Hurricane Ike spun past the Pensacola, Fla. coast yesterday, as usual the daredevils hit the waves with their surfboards in tow. This patrolman also hits the waves with his 4-wheeler. Apparently no one told him that his 4-wheeler was not intended to surf the waves.

Minutes after hitting the water, this dude gets pummeled by a huge wave, knocking him off the vehicle and flipping the vehicle over.

Instead of him rescuing these crazy surfers, these crazy surfers ended up rescuing him and his vehicle.

What was this guy trying to do anyway? Sorry to say it, but he got what was coming to him for sure. Duh! Four-wheelers are not meant for water. Maybe next time he’ll break out the jetski instead. That would make a whole lot more sense anyway.
