Body artists have long known the beauty of human skin. I’ve been wowed by body art before, but never seen anything quite like the works of Guido Daniele.

This Italian artist zeroes in on the hands, transforming this body part into a canvas for his animal creations. Known as handimals, the creatures come to life in stunning three-dimensional form. The eagle, elephant, and crocodile are particularly stunning.

This isn’t the best video by a long shot. The classical soundtrack is dark and frankly creepy. The transitions are atrocious. But the handimals are so amazing, I’m willing to overlook the production flaws.
