The Cosby Show may have been a family-oriented show, but some of these outtakes are pretty controversial. No, they’re not as shocking as the profanity-laced Thundercats bloopers, yet the jokes that are brought up have some racial and sexist undertones.

You know, like the jokes real American families say to each other.

It’s a little known fact that the majority of the audience for The Cosby Show at it’s peak of popularity was the white middle-class. So while it may seem surprising to find jokes like the one at the 4:34 mark made, I’m sure there were tons more that will never see the light of day.

This footage came as a extra on the Cosby Show Season 2 DVDs released back in 2005. It took 20 years, but now we finally get a glimpse into the “real” Cosby family.
