Facebook has added video to Instagram, meaning you can shoot short clips on your phone with consummate ease. This is just Vine under a different name, surely.
This video takes us through Instagram video, by someone who thinks it will kill Vine stone dead. I’m not so sure, and my sense of fairness makes me want Vine to win the battle.
It has to be said that Instagram video is really just a copy of Vine, but with a longer clip length (15 seconds over 6 seconds) and a few added bells and whistles.
I don’t quite know how Instagram, or its overlord, Facebook, got away with such a blatant rip-off, but then you can’t patent an idea, only a product.
