If you can remember, last year a video sponsored by Nike surfaced where Kobe jumped over a moving car. That’s basically the same premise for this video with a skater. Only this time there’s no sponsor and it’s real.

Right?

On the first viewing of this, I was cheering for the skater. I wanted to believe that some unknown pro could do a trick as amazing as this. However, at the second viewing I was skeptical. Why was there that “error” in the film and an apparent cut from after he jumped?

My guess would be that it’s yet another fake filmed by professionals who spliced footage of the guy jumping and the car wrecking the ramp. The 90s-like filter on it is also clue, since the frame rate is too smooth to match it. A simple blurry fake might fool me, but big stunts like this make them more obvious.
