With daytime television positively saturated by cooking programmes, Barbara Nosek and Debbie Hall are hoping a shift to the convenience and interactivity of the internet will freshen up the genre and make Celebrity Chef Connection a success.

Viewers from around the world will be able to send questions for top chefs (including Emeril Lagasse, Todd English and Guy Savoy) and other guests to request information about recipes, ingredients, techniques and equipment before each broadcast.

The culinary centrepiece of each Las Vegas-based show will be a wide-ranging chat with a well-respect chef, time filled with demonstrations, top tips, secrets, and their future plans.

Other features include “Noshing Like A Native” (discovering off-strip dining gems) and “Stars at the Stove” (cooking with Las Vegas entertainers).

Celebrity Chef Connection debuts on Wednesday September 5 at 5 pm (PDT) and will be on air in the same weekly slot thereafter. The programme can be viewed at the official website, and each and every episode will be archived for instant viewing afterwards.

At least there’s not long to wait before we find out if Celebrity Chef Connection is a tasty meal or a dog’s dinner of a production.
