This is live video footage of an earthquake hitting Japan. Which isn’t that newsworthy in its own right but has been made more so thanks to the devastating events of a few months ago.

It was on March 11 that Japan was hit by a huge earthquake and tsunami which killed thousands and injured scores more. It also caused damage to the Fukushima nuclear power plant causing worldwide panic as to what could happen.

This means that any other earthquake or natural phenomena occurring around Japan is getting the attention of the public and news crews from around the world. Almost as though we’re anticipating the worst.

Although not a small earthquake this one didn’t trigger a tsunami and hasn’t had anywhere near the effect the one that occurred four months ago had. And surely Japan has suffered enough by this point, Mother Nature!
