Twilight is currently THE franchise of the moment. Forget Harry Potter, forget Spider-Man, forget everything else you’ve ever watched or read because Twilight is where it’s at.
But not everyone’s a fan. And here is one of those non-fans giving his views on the series at Comic-Con 2009.
Here we see cult director Kevin Smith on stage talking about Twilight, and in particular the trailer for New Moon that had everyone talking during the summer. Well, everyone who is female and just reaching puberty, that is.
Smith’s reason for not hating on Twilight fans is that these 12-year-old vampire fans will soon be 18-year-old vampire fans. And that’s clearly something to encourage.
Smith also encouraged Robert Pattinson to get his fill of women at this stage of his career. And I couldn’t agree more. Even if he ends up being the most-revered actor of his generation he’ll likely never again get the female attention he is doing now.
