Kylie Minogue is back after her enforced hiatus from singing because of a battle against breast cancer. This is her first single from forthcoming new album entitled X and it’s an instant return to form.
I for one have missed Kylie’s cheesy pop sound, and the sexy, sultry videos which always accompany those songs.
This song is called 2 Hearts and seems to mark quite a diversion in Kylie’s sound. She’s lost none of the heartfelt lyrics or camp goodness, but seems to have added some Indie sensibilities to her repertoire.
In the video she looks more like Marilyn Manson‘s sexier twin sister than the hotpants wearing girly girl we’ve come to expect. I for one am not complaining!
This video does not however beat the banned commercial she made a few years ago for Agent Provocateur underwear. That’s almost heart attack inducing, but I’ve so far survived the many times I’ve watched it so far.
