This guy has to be the gutsiest geek I’ve seen. When robbers broke into his house to steal his flat screen TV, his wife’s jewelry, and his Nintendo Wii (you can catch it at the 1:34 mark) he gave them a taste of their own medicine by stealing their getaway car.
He even laughs about it over the phone while calling 911!
Even though the news station and the lady who answered the 911 call appear to disapprove of Patrick Rosario’s actions, I happen to think that they’re secret fans of him. If you have the guts to even think of such a plan, pull it off, and laugh about it later, then you’re a hero in my book.
So far, the thieves have not been caught even though their car has been confiscated and their fingerprints recorded. If they’re smart they won’t ever try to hit up Rosario’s house again. Not because the man’s got a new alarm system, but because of his balls of steel.
