Matt Corby confirmed his status as Australian Idol’s golden boy after scoring his second touchdown last night. Just two weeks after earning the first touchdown of the season, Matt impressed the judges with this cover of The Verve’s Bittersweet Symphony.
It was a perfect song choice, and Matt built it beautifully. He understands lyrics better than most people twice his age, bringing a genuine intensity to any song he sings. And of course, he’s a gorgeous boy so you know the teenage girls will vote for him!
Matt Corby does seem to be the complete package. Well, almost. If only we could find a stylist to get rid of that bedhair and terrible jacket!
