Bjork is a great singer, and by the looks of this video also a great fighter. This incident happened in 1996 when a reporter approached her son at Bangkok airport.
The story goes that Bjork and her family had just been on a 10 hour flight to Thailand and on landing the first thing they saw was a huddle of reporters and photographers.
Bjork is renowned for being a very private almost shy person and so when one particular reporter decided to approach her 10 year old son and say “Welcome to Bangkok,” it was all too much for her and she lost it.
I kind of don’t blame her as everyone is entitled to some peace and privacy no matter how famous they may be. And she has a good right hook which has give me a YouTube video to post about a decade later.
I chose this video over all the other versions of the attack out there because of the brilliant Street Fighter style animation someone has put over the top, it makes it all the better.
