If there is one metal band that deserves to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame it it surely Metallica. They are pioneers, great songwriters, great musicians, and above all else, make a fantastic noise.

They may have had to share their night with Run DMC, amongst others, who was inducted by Eminem, but they were definitely the stars of the show. After the speeches they performed two songs, Enter Sandman and Master of Puppets.

This YouTube video shows Master of Puppets, which the current four members performed alongside Jason Newsted, the former bassist who left after tensions arose surrounding his role in a side project with Echobrain.

But none of that seemed to matter as Newsted once again joined Metallica on stage. I have still yet to see the band perform live but this video makes me want to do so more than ever before.
