Zip lines are the bomb, of that there is no question. However, my experience of them has been rather limited to the short ones at adventure playgrounds (when I was younger obviously).

Compare those to this, the world’s best zip line. It claims to be the fastest, highest, longest, and steepest zip line anywhere in the world. And after watching this video of a guy experiencing it, I’m not going to argue with that assessment.

First, just take a look at the setting. The zip line begins in South Africa and ends in Namibia (although I assume there is no passport control on this occasion). And you make your way down the side of a mountain… the fast way.

In all you travel over a mile in length and reach speeds of up to 100mph. That is impressive. All that’s left for me to do is find out exactly where it is and book my trip there. Forget bungee jumping, this looks even more fun than that.
