Have you ever shared a car with someone who happily sings along to the radio, only to hear they’re singing the wrong lyrics? It’s an annoying but all too frequent occurrence, and one I’m too often found guilty of.
For years I was sure Elton John was singing about “electric boobs” rather than “electric boots” in “Benny And the Jets”. It changes the song completely, doesn’t it?
Such is the case with “Ain’t No Other Man.” It wasn’t until I watched this video that I realized how easily Christina Aguilera’s pop ditty could be misinterpreted.
I laughed from start to finish through this video, which illustrates some alternate lyrics to this pop classic. I’ll never be able to hear this song in quite the same way again!
