Muse are one of the greatest bands around at the moment. They’ve been well known in their native U.K. for years but came to notoriety in the U.S. thanks to Knights Of Cydonia being featured in the Guitar Hero video game.
This video features an A Capella version of Knights Of Cydonia done by one man. He uses a combination of noises from his mouth and hand clapping to cover the full song from beginning to end.
The actual lyrics and singing are missing but the rest is there and brilliantly recreated. Knights Of Cydonia includes some strange noises but this guy manages to recreate them all with enough accuracy that the song is instantly recognizable.
The visuals in the video are also genius, showing exactly what the guy is doing with his mouth and hands, and how the whole thing is edited together to fit the song. Brilliant stuff.
