Today (Aug. 5) is apparently National Underwear Day 2009. No, I didn’t know either. But I obviously do now thanks to the power of Google. So, who’s up for celebrating the joys and wonders of underwear?
Underwear is actually something few of us think about on a regular basis. Sure, when you’re going on a hot date you’ll make sure to wear sexy underwear rather than anything with holes in or stains on.
But on on a daily basis it’s probably only underwear models that even think about it.
Even so, there is an annual Underwear Day at the beginning of August each year. This is the seventh anniversary of National Underwear Day as created by Freshpair. It’s not really a day for giving cards and present but you could always treat yourself to some new underwear to celebrate.
In which case, this video may help, with The Today Show revealing some of the latest fashion trends in the world of underwear. Alternatively, it could just be an excuse to have some good looking men and women wearing very little clothing.
