Bringing the ‘cool’ back to surfing. Or hurricanes. Or idiocy.

This video shows three windsurfers living it up and taking advantage of the wind gusts from the approaching hurricane Gustav.

And why shouldn’t they? When millions have fled and the police and national guard are urging the people who stayed to stay inside, why not go out for a day of sand and surf? Fun stuff.

Maybe I’m being a bit harsh, but having been through twin tornadoes, strong storms tend to make me a teensy bit nervous.

Thank goodness I moved to Australia. I only have to deal with the killer snakes and spiders.
