This is the official HD trailer for Last Resort, a new ABC drama that revolves around a U.S. nuclear submarine who crew has supposedly gone rogue.

Last Resort debuted on September 27, and the first episode was really rather impressive. The production values are clearly high, and the storyline leaves room for weekly revelations and the obligatory cliffhanger endings.

However, I just don’t buy the premise the series is based on. Submarine movies which tell of near-disasters when communications breakdowns have almost led to World War III are great, but can such a scenario sustain a weekly series?

Once the crew of the USS Colorado set up base on an island and start firing nuclear missiles around as a threat all semblance of reality goes out of the window. Next.
