Take an obscure Turkish film called Kareteci Kız (which translates as Karate Girl) from 1973, take one scene from it, put it online, and title it ‘Worst Movie Death Scene Ever’. Et voila, you have a viral video hit on your hands.

This guy, who has a bouffant haircut and something between dried blood and facial hair around his mouth, knows how to die. And the camera loves him. For every agonizing second it lasts.

He gets shot once, but amazingly there is no blood until he puts his hands to his stomach. He then gets shot again and inadvertently smashes a bottle. Then again, just to get a bloody hand-print on the wall. Again, and he shoots the floor. Again, and this time he lands on the bed, looking first to make sure he’s on target.

It’s epic, it’s crap, it’s funny, and it’s genius. All at the same time.
