Another month, another Marvel comic book hero gets his own movie. Like buses, if you miss one you know there’ll be another one along in a little while.
This time it’s Thor that is getting a piece of the big screen action, and this video shows the teaser trailer for the movie set to hit us like a gigantic bloody hammer in May 2011.
I’ve never been into comic books, so most of these movies actually introduce me to the characters. Take Iron Man, for instance, who I’d actually never heard of before Robert Downey Jr. brought him to life.
Chris Hemsworth is the man charged with bringing Thor to life, and the early signs suggest he’s done so in a pretty reputable fashion. And Anthony Hopkins playing his dad is an inspired piece of casting.
It’s still early days but I’m liking what I’ve seen so far.
