Philadelphia Eagles’ wide receiver Riley Cooper has landed himself in hot water after using a racial slur at a Kenny Chesney concert.
The video embedded above was shot by someone who witnessed an altercation between Riley and a black security guard which ended with the use of the offensive term.
Riley has since been fined by his team and apologized for his actions. This really does put him in a bad light, but the term was clearly uttered in the heat of the moment with tensions running high.
I have to say though, I’m not sure which is the most offensive thing about this story, Riley’s casual use of the N-word or the fact he was attending a Kenny Chesney concert.
