The Raelians are a religious group that has a UFO-based mythology. It’s a little like Scientology without the financial commitment. And the women seem to be a lot more comfortable with showing off their bodies, as this topless protest in California shows.
The ladies, and men too, believe that when you free your breasts, you free your mind. I’m not sure it’s quite that liberating, but it’s always seemed a little crazy to me that women have to cover up in places men don’t.
I’m not quite sure how this pro-topless stance fits into the Raelian ideology either, but if girls want to walk the streets wearing only tiny little nipple protectors, who am I to stop them?
