As it turns out, Chris Brown showed earlier signs of abuse but Rihanna still claims that he never made her bleed. Unlike all the “ignorant” rumors that blamed Rihanna for somehow starting the incident, she dismisses them with the truth; the altercation started because she suspected Chris Brown of cheating on her.

Judging from the account and the police report, I’d have to deem Chris Brown the biggest asshole of the year. Not only did he cheat on his best friend/girlfriend, but he lied about it, beat her, threw away her cell phone, and threatened to kill her.

“I felt like I feel asleep as Rihanna and woke up as Britney Spears,” she says concerning the publicity. Hopefully a domestic abuse incident this publicized will open the eyes of other couples who are in the same predicament.
