Kids say the darndest things don’t they?
As Obama states, he did get elected President so not “everyone” hates him, however, his approval rating hasn’t been very good lately. It’s still higher than Bush in his last year of Presidency, but he’s gotten a lot of heat recently for things like the Stay-In-School speech to kids and winning the Nobel Peace Prize.
I know he probably addressed the kid just to get some good press, but I’m glad that he took the boy’s question seriously. In America we often like to forget that the President isn’t solely responsible for a bad economy.
“When things are going good you get some credit and when things go bad you get some of the blame- and that’s part of the job.” I couldn’t have said it better myself.
