OK, so maybe I was fooled for a minute but I’m not gullible enough to have got to the end of this video still believing it’s really a clip from Russia’s Got Talent. That’s because it isn’t, and I’m sure the guy is fine.
There are a few things that gives this video away as being an attempt at a viral marketing campaign. For starters, the sign just says “Talent” in order to be as generic as possible, and why are the auditions being held in what looks like a school hall?
But the biggest giveaway, as noted by a few commenters on YouTube, is that when doofus number one picks up the beer can and puts it on his head for doofus number two to shoot it off, the label is conveniently pointed towards the camera throughout.
I suppose there’s a one percent chance I’m wrong and we are actually watching footage of a guy being shot in the head with a bow and arrow. But I’ll take that chance and laugh anyway.
