Hollywood heartthrob Ryan Reynolds discussed his love for the Game of Thrones series in a recent interview.
“It’s no secret, I’m a Game of Thrones nut. I’m an addict,” he said.
Ryan says that he will do anything he needs to do to get more of the show.
“Would I want a part? On one hand I’m a fan so I like my outside perspective into that world, but on the other, F- yeah, how ridiculously insane would that be!”
Reynolds stated that every actor wants to be a part of the show and that he, also Irish, would love to replace some of the Irish stars on the show, including Liam Cunningham or Aidan Gillen. The two play Ser Davos Seaworth and Petyr Baelish, better known as “Littlefinger.”
He then joked and said, “Or maybe I could be a long lost Lannister?”
The actor, like many people, will tune in to the new season of Game of Thrones in mid-July.
Reynolds has a full schedule starring in a new film alongside Samuel L. Jackson in The Hitman’s Bodyguard. The blockbuster features Reynolds as the bodyguard of a former assassin who is going to testify in front of an international court of justice for a dictator.
The duo will face other deadly hitmen, life-threatening situations and explosions as they make their way to the court.
Reynolds states that it’s one of the hardest things he has ever done to keep a straight face in front of Samuel L. Jackson. He further showed his “fanboy” side for Jackson, stating that even a simple wave, and you think “oh my God, Samuel L Jackson acknowledged I exist!”
Reynolds, the star of the Deadpool series, says that his character in Deadpool is “very much a part of” him. The sequel is expected to be released sometime in 2018 when Reynolds will reprise his role as Wade, the main star of the series.
