Wow, is it really Christmas in a few days time? That’s gone far too quick for my liking, in fact, so quickly that I haven’t even done my present buying yet. Book vouchers all round then!

This video has nothing to do with my Christmas but it does show Santa Claus making a strange cameo on the classic television version of Batman. They don’t make TV like this anymore, and a good job too.

Three things immediately spring to mind: the terrible acting, from Batman, Robin and Santa himself; the great special effect of walking up a vertical wall (amazing); Santa’s gappy teeth, surely they have dentists in the North Pole?!?

I’ve always thought Santa Claus was a lazy git, only working one day a week while his elf slaves do all the serious work. But this clip does at least show Santa did one day’s work in the year, appearing on Batman.
