Seattle’s Real-Life Superheroes (Video) | Spiderman, Batman, & Phoenix Jones

While Batman may be watching over Gotham City, real-life superheros like Pheonix Jones are looking after the streets of Seattle.

This news story reminds me a lot of the movie Kick-Ass– unsurprisingly, the “unknown man” who is Pheonix Jones keeps his costume hidden in a comic book shop.

Although the news reporter doesn’t bring it up, this concept of forming a group of people to “fight crime” is almost like forming a gang for “good.” The complex question of course, is what exactly is the definition of “good” that these superheros use?

I wouldn’t be surprised if Pheonix Jones gets sued for harming someone while preventing them from committing a crime. Still, there’s another part of me that would trust mysterious real-life superheros over the real police any day.
