Talk about a good way to freeze your balls off… all for what? A little trophy and some glory for a sport that draws a total of 10 people to come and watch it?

What a strange concept. Who in their right mind would want to jump into water that is just around freezing and under a thick coat of ice? I guess a bunch of losers who would never make the real hockey team so they had to invent some strange underwater hockey sport to show off their.. um.. skills?

And I guess those skills would be holding your breath under water and not freezing your balls off. With 10 minute periods, I can’t imagine how numb my toes would be, much less three rounds of 10 minutes.

What will they come up with next? Playing hockey while skydiving?
