Here is a sweet little plugin/hack that allows you to watch the streaming TV content on your living room TV using the Xbox Media Center (or other media extenders/PCs) over a home network.
This can actually allow you to watch TV channels from all over the world. SopCast and TVUPlayer are very popular for getting free sports events over the net. Personally I think TVUPlayer is easier to use, especially for the novice user.
