In a system where the cost of your textbooks – that you often don’t even open – could feed a family for weeks, it’s no wonder things are being called into question.

This video about today’s students gives a quick look into the main points of the education system and student’s lives. This includes trying to shove a 26.5 hour day into the 24 hours we all live in.

I think the woman who held up the sign saying she’ll be over $20,000 in debt by the time she graduates must be going to a two-year university or has a lot of scholarships.

I’m in debt over $20,000 and I only went for two years. The student loan company refused my loan for my third year and I was forced to start paying on that debt with only a minimum wage, part time job.

And exactly how does a system like this benefit future generations?
