Avatar is the new movie from James Cameron which mixes live-action with what is supposedly the best-looking CGI ever created. And for that reason alone it cost an absolute fortune to make.

Team America: World Police is the animated movie from the creators of South Park. It uses puppets on strings and had a budget of about $2.50.

This mash-up video combines the two movies into one glorious whole. The audio from the Avatar trailer is intact while the visuals are provided by footage of Team America: World Police. Except Matt Damon makes an appearance.

This is masterfully created and shows that Cameron could actually have eschewed the huge budget and just called in Matt Stone and Trey Parker to bring Avatar to life. Personally I think I’d rather see this version than the real one.
