This video shows a few choice moments from vice-presidential debates over the years. Some of them make me want to go back and watch the debates in full, even though the results now don’t matter a damn.

The vice-presidential debate took place last night between Joe Biden and Paul Ryan. Biden won convincingly, going on the attack the way Obama failed to during the first presidential debate.

It was a fun debate with lots of great moments, but then the vice presidential debates do tend to throw up some intriguing battles of wills.

Next up is the second presidential debate between Obama and Romney next Tuesday night. And it’s being held in the town hall style, meaning members of the audience will be able to ask questions.
