The Dark Knight Rises is almost upon us, and let’s hope it’s been worth the long wait. If it turns out to disappoint there’s always the option of re-dubbing it.
This is a short version of the trailer for The Dark Knight Rises with one very big difference: Squeaky Pee-Wee Herman voices all the characters, including Batman, Bane, and Catwoman.
The results are far funnier than they have any right to be. It helps that the actual actors all seem to have eaten gravel before they took to the sound stage.
Screw it, I’m saying it now. Get Pee-Wee to re-dub the whole film and add it as an extra to the DVD and Blu-ray release. I’d buy it just for that, and I doubt I’d be the only one.
