There’s unlikely to be many of you reading this that haven’t seen the original The Evolution Of Dance video from a couple of years ago. After all, it is one of the most-viewed online videos ever created.
Well guess what? Judson Laipply, the comedian behind the brilliant yet simple idea is back for a sequel, cleverly entitled The Evolution Of Dance 2. And it’s still as funny as it ever was the first time around.
It must be strange for Laipply, a gigging comedian, because where does he go from having such a huge global video hit? Did he carry on performing the skit in front of live audiences? Or did he mention it in passing before moving on?
Obviously at some point or another, Laipply realized he needed to have another viral hit, and so concocted The Evolution Of Dance 2, which covers different songs, some of which are band up to date.
But why oh why did he choose Soulja Boy?!? There was me thinking this man had taste but it seems not. What’s the betting that we’ll see The Evolution Of Dance 3 in 2011?
