This YouTube video made me laugh and kept me interested all the way through. It’s comedian Judson Laipply demonstrating ‘The Evolution Of Dance’.

In this display of ingenious comedy, Judson takes us through the history of dance from the 1950s right through to present day.

I don’t claim to recognise every single style of dance on there, as there’s just too many he goes through, and I’m not much of a dancer if I’m honest.

The music playing over the top helps you recognise certain ones though.

We start with The Twist, pass through Michael Jackson’s Thriller, do a bit of Jumping to Vanilla Ice and MC Hammer, then end with a bit of Jay Z and NSync.

A great video, and a performance style which reminds me of ‘Karaoke For The Deaf‘. Brilliant!
