Richard Dawkins is one of the most notable atheists in the world, not afraid to discuss his views that there is no God, no Heaven, and no Hell. He’s written a number of bestselling books on the subject.

This video features an excerpt from the audiobook version of The God Delusion. Richard Dawkins recounts some of the most vitriolic and vile hate mail he has received in the past, most of it from supposedly religious people.

I’m not an Atheist but then I’m not a Christian either. I believe in a God but don’t proscribe to any particular religion. So I can see both sides. But on this score I cannot believe these religious people are so rude and ignorant.

I personally don’t wish ill on anyone, even if I hate them. Yet the people sending this hate mail want to inflict pain and suffering on Atheists purely because they don’t believe in the same thing. Which is just sick.
