E-Sports is absolutely huge at the moment, and due to get even bigger as more of us see the appeal in watching other people play video games.
Hell, it no longer has to be competitive either, with millions of people watching PewDiePie on YouTube every week. Millions. Literally.
But why? What’s the appeal?
This video attempts to answer those questions, and comes up with some very good reasons why some people will happily sit for hours watching other people play video games.
When you really think about it it’s no more odd than people watching other people play football, baseball, or basketball. You could be outside playing these sports for yourself, but instead you’re sitting on your couch watching other people play it.
