And you thought movies based on books were bad… Beware Super Mario Brothers fans…

While I do agree that most of these – and a lot of other video game based movies out there – are quite sucktastic, I think you have to take any movie based on a video game with a grain of salt, so to say.

Video game movies may not have to contend with human imaginations like book based movies do, video games usually lack the ‘flesh’ of a book anyway so movie makers are more likely to take liberties with what they do with it.
