We’ve been unearthing some incredible timepieces on WebTVHub lately. There was the clock where you watch the hands being changed earlier this week, and now here’s a clock with no hands at all!

Known as the Corpus Clock, it features 60 slits cut into the face which light up to show the time. The seconds whizz by, making us acutely aware of time rushing past.

Atop the Corpus Clock sits a sinister looking grasshopper known as a cronophage or “time muncher.” As he feasts upon the seconds, minutes, and hours the world turns.

The clock’s creator John Taylor says he “wanted to make timekeeping interesting.” I’d say this is a job well done!
