I always knew there was more to those “homemade” viral videos. Viralcom is a new comedic web series that “exposes” how big-budget companies are behind those innocent viral videos. Oh, and you thought Chris Crocker and that Chocolate Rain guy weren’t paid actors?

C’mon!

Joey & David

The parody show was created by up-and-coming comics ‘Joey and David’ who have worked for Comedy Central shows “Stella” and “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.” Although they’d like you to think they were the brains behind nearly every YouTube classic, they ironically have the resume to do so.

Last year they were among Variety Magazine’s “10 Comics to Watch.” Many of their shorts and ‘longs’ have gone viral on sites like College Humor, Facebook, FunnyorDie, Myspace, and, of course, YouTube.

Viralcom Episode 1

This is the first episodes which explains how Viralcom is an elaborate studio for “User Generated Content.” All kidding aside, this show really does have pretty professional production for a web series. New episodes premiere every Wednesday.
