While Beyonce and Lady Gaga lead with the most award nominations, voices from the past like Britany Spears are up for awards as well at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards ceremony.

With performances including Taylor Swift, Pink, Green Day (a personal favourite of mine) and Muse, this year’s VMAs are sure to rock New York just as must – if not more than – as previous years.

I am happy to see so many great names that I know up for awards. I have to admit, I’m waiting for any possible controversies to start.
